In examining the data there were visual increases in communication abilities for a few children involved in the program. However, there were others in the program that showed an improvement in behaviors at the beginning observation but then a decrease at the end. This contradicts our ability to say it was completely the program.The GARS subtest standard scores reflect how probable a child is to have autism. ... Significantly low scores are standard scores below 6 on any subtest. In the normative sample, less than 9% of the subjects with autism scored this low.
