The author was caught in a maelstrom of social, economic and cultural upheavals in America, including global conflicts.He told me, in passing however, that he finished Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California in Los Angels, California, and that a job was waiting for him at 117 PART SEVEN A BRIEF FORAY IN THE PHILIPPINES.
