This edited volume fills a void in the literature concerning the purpose, practice, and pedagogy associated with performing rhetorical criticism. Literature regarding these issuesapredominantly purposeaexists primarily as scattered journal articles and as sections within chapters of textbooks on rhetorical criticism.
