My goal was to further reduce fork flex by obtaining increased fork tube overlap. I removed all pre-load from the Progressive Suspension springs and filled the tubes with 250cc of automatic transmission fluid. This yielded the additional compression damping required when the fork travel and pre-load were decreased making the removal of the spacer and change of oil weight complete.
