All the results obtained in this study have proven that electrodeposited multilayer nanowires exhibit unique magnetic properties and are advantageous for the study of CPP-GMR. The findings in magnetization reversal mechanism are believed to help better understand the complicated magnetic behavior of nanoscale multilayer systems and provide additional insights into theoretical modeling of such systems. The findings in CPP-GMR will help understand various spintronic phenomena and design new nanoscale magnetic sensors and high density data storage devices.Magnetotransport properties of electrodeposited Co/Cu and CoNi/Cu multilayer nanowires are described in this chapter. ...
