The subset A of R\ is a Newton diagram if A = A(S) for a set S C TV2 (see [K]). According to Teissier we put {=As=} = A(5) if 5 = {(0, 0), (0, 6)}, {Ap} = (a, 0) + R\ and {*f } = (0, 6) + R\ for any a, 6 agt; 0 and call such diagrams elementary Newton diagrams .
