About the AuthorDallas Clarnette is a minister (retired) of the Presbyterian Church of Australia. With his wife, Beverley, he lives in Rosebud, Victoria and regularly travels to preach throughout Victoria and beyond, sometimes accepting short-term ministry in vacant parishes. In 1967 he published Fifty Years on Fire for God, a biography of Walter Betts, who influenced Melbourne's evangelical life in the 1930s; and in 2009 The Blessedness of Death, Anticipated in the Lives of Eminent Christians.
